Me presenting Blue Dragon at the Australian Space Science Conference, 1 October 2013

“Blue Dragon” is a humans-to-Mars mission architecture based on the NASA Design Reference Architecture, with various improvements to improve safety and reduce cost. It leverages COTS hardware likely to be available within the next decade, is designed as the seed of a settlement rather than a “flags and footprints” program, and is specifically intended as an international mission.

About

I like to read, write, teach, travel, code, lift weights, play music, listen to music, make things out of wood, watch scifi movies, and play board games and computer games. My interests are broad, spanning science, engineering, architecture, technology, nutrition, environment, psychology, health, fitness, finance, business, and economics, but my main passions are spirituality, space settlement, and veganism. My ambition is to be a successful writer and speaker, and to create a company to produce awesome science fiction books, movies, and games that inspire people about the future. Eventually, I would also like to create vegan cafes and urban farms.

I found this website somewhat recently. What order should I read the posts in?

That’s a good question, Lars! It depends somewhat on your interests and how much time you have available. I would read the posts about the Tiw program, followed by Red Dragon, Green Dragon and Blue Dragon, and the posts about ISRU. The Blue Dragon posts read in the order they were posted, and it should make sense. There is a lot more material I need to post. If you have questions about anything, please ask!
